With a dedicated work force and a heritage of quality that stretches back over 90 years, we take pride in our industrial services at Progressive Machine Works, Inc. We offer superior casting machining services, with experience in fixture design that helps provide cost effective production of our customers’ parts. We provide the machining of castings and forgings from many different materials, including cast iron, ductile iron, aluminum, steel, stainless steel, bronze, and brass. Our facility contains state-of-the-art equipment that includes vertical and horizontal machining centers, along with large and conventional lathes. We offer 4 axis machinery that can mill, drill, bore, tap, pocket, ream, face, counter-bore, turn, and knurl materials to our clients’ precise specifications. A number of different threading options are available as well, including internal, external, inch, metric, and API. Our equipment can accommodate workpieces of multiple dimensions, including turning diameters up to 36", turning lengths up to 66", part weights up to 5 tons, and tolerances as tight as ± 0.0001". Thorough testing, inspection, and quality control measures are performed for every component we machine.
